Sequences that keep working long after launch week ends
Welcome flows, nurture sequences and launch campaigns built on the same research as your website — so the story a subscriber gets is the one your site started.
At a glance
- Timeline: 2–3 weeks
- Your time: 2 hours
- Revisions: two full rounds included
- Billing: fixed fee, never hourly
Welcome sequence (5 emails): NZ$1,200. Full launch campaign (10–14 emails): from NZ$2,600.
This is for you if
- You have a list you’ve been apologising to for six months
- New subscribers get one automated email and then silence
- You’re launching something and don’t want to spend a fortnight writing emails
- Your emails get opened but nothing happens afterwards
It’s not for you if
- You want fake countdown timers and manufactured scarcity
- The offer itself hasn’t been validated with a single customer
- You bought the list
- You want daily sends to an audience that signed up for monthly

No add-on pricing halfway through. This is the whole list.
List & offer review
What your subscribers signed up for, what they’ve received since, and where the promise broke.
Written sequence
Every email written in full — subject lines, preview text, body, CTA — in send order with timing notes.
Segmentation plan
Which subscribers get which path, and the trigger for each. Written for your ESP, not in the abstract.
Subject line bank
Three tested options per email, so you can rotate without rewriting.
Ethical urgency
Real deadlines with real reasons. No resetting timers, no invented stock counts.
Post-send review
Two weeks after the sequence goes live we read the numbers together and adjust.
Four stages, and you always know which one we’re in
Every stage ends with something you can read, not a status update.

Research
Interviews, mining, analytics and competitor work. You get the research brief before any writing starts, so nothing is a surprise later.
Draft & revise
Written work in a shared doc, then two full revision rounds. I explain the reasoning behind anything you want to change.
Handover & check-in
Final files, a handover call with whoever is implementing, and a check-in 30 days later to see what the numbers did.

Email & Launch Copy FAQ
I write platform-agnostically and format for yours — Mailchimp, ConvertKit, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, MailerLite and HubSpot are all familiar. Delivery includes trigger and timing notes in the format your ESP expects, so whoever builds it isn’t guessing.
Writing is the service; build is available for an additional NZ$450 for a standard sequence, which covers loading, formatting, trigger setup and a test send to you. For anything involving complex conditional logic I’ll recommend a specialist — it’s a different craft and you deserve someone who does it daily.
For a considered purchase, ten to fourteen across two to three weeks is typical. Fewer than eight and you’re relying on people reading every send; more than sixteen and you’re training your list to ignore you. The right number depends on price point and how long your buyers take to decide — we settle it in the first call.
Then we’re aligned. My sequences lead with usefulness and make the ask plainly, once per email, without disguising it. The principles I write to are published here — including the four techniques I refuse to use regardless of who’s paying.
Yes, as a retainer: NZ$340 per issue for a researched, written and formatted newsletter, minimum four issues. Most clients pair it with the content retainer so the newsletter and the blog reinforce each other rather than competing.
