Articles that earn their traffic — and then earn their keep

Long-form content mapped to real search intent, written with first-hand expertise, and linked so the people who arrive actually find their way to the thing you sell.

From NZ$420 / article

At a glance

  • Timeline: Rolling monthly
  • Your time: 1 hour a month
  • Revisions: two full rounds included
  • Billing: fixed fee, never hourly

Retainer: NZ$1,600/month for two long-form articles, quarterly keyword refresh and a landing page each quarter.

This is for you if

  • You want organic traffic that compounds instead of ads that stop when you do
  • You’ve published before and it went nowhere, and you’d like to know why
  • Your expertise is real but locked in your head and your sales calls
  • You need content that feeds sales, not just a tidy-looking blog

It’s not for you if

  • You want twenty 500-word posts a month for the volume
  • The brief is ‘spin this competitor’s article’
  • You need results inside six weeks — organic doesn’t move that fast
  • Nobody in the business has an hour a month for a subject-matter call

Not sure which column you’re in? Ask me on a free call — I’ll tell you honestly.

What you get

Everything included in Content Writing & SEO

No add-on pricing halfway through. This is the whole list.

Search intent research

The queries your buyers actually type, the format already winning, and the gap your article fills.

Long-form writing

1,500–2,500 words, question-shaped headings, self-contained sections, written to be quotable.

Subject-matter interview

Thirty minutes with whoever knows the most in your business. It’s what stops the article sounding like everyone else’s.

Internal link plan

Descriptive anchors pointing readers from article to service page at the moment they realise they need help.

Title & meta

Written, not generated. Under 60 characters, matched to intent, promise kept by the page.

Quarterly refresh

Pages ranking 5–20 get updated rather than replaced — usually the highest-return work on the whole site.

How it runs

Four stages, and you always know which one we’re in

Every stage ends with something you can read, not a status update.

See the full process
Stage one

Free fit call

Thirty minutes on your goals, your customers and whether this is the right service for the problem. You get a fixed-fee proposal within 48 hours.

Stage two

Research

Interviews, mining, analytics and competitor work. You get the research brief before any writing starts, so nothing is a surprise later.

Stage three

Draft & revise

Written work in a shared doc, then two full revision rounds. I explain the reasoning behind anything you want to change.

Stage four

Handover & check-in

Final files, a handover call with whoever is implementing, and a check-in 30 days later to see what the numbers did.

Questions

Content Writing & SEO FAQ

Realistically, three to six months for a new article to settle into position, and longer on competitive terms. Anyone promising faster is either selling ads or telling you what you want to hear. The quarterly refresh work moves faster — existing pages sitting in positions 5–20 often shift within weeks.

I use it the way I use a thesaurus and a search engine — for research, structure checks and finding the phrasing I’m circling. The reporting, the interviews, the argument and the sentences are mine. Synthesised text with no first-hand experience in it is the most abundant commodity on the internet right now, and abundance is the opposite of a ranking advantage.

Yes, with your input. The subject-matter interview is compulsory for technical work, and everything goes through an accuracy pass with your expert before publication. I’ve written in medical devices, financial compliance and structural engineering under exactly this arrangement.

Your call. Standard delivery is a formatted doc with headings, internal links and meta fields marked up. For an extra NZ$90 per piece I’ll load and format it directly in WordPress, Webflow or Squarespace and send you a preview link.

Three months, then month to month with 30 days’ notice. Three months is the shortest window in which you can tell whether anything is working; below that we’d both be guessing.
